Speed Lower

I fell asleep on the couch last night before waking up and going to bed and when I woke up this morning my right 12th rib was feeling wonky. Fortunately it didn't really bother me much during training, but I still refrained from working up at the end of my speed work and went lighter on good mornings. No point in being a hero in training when I have no imminent competitions on the horizon.

Banded Deads (short monster minis)

4x225

2x275

8x2x320 - Video is of 1st and last sets and it looks better than it felt.

Chain Squats (2 sets)

8x55 + chains

4x145

2x195

8x2x235 - These have gotten much faster since I've been remembering to keep my back and lats tighter.

SS Yoke Bar Good Mornings/SS Yoke Bar Calf Raises

3x{10x155/25x255} - Things felt off on good mornings when I briefly tried to move up to my planned weights so I stayed with the warmup weight and reps.

Airbike Tabata

First time doing this on my airbike at home instead of at Iron Strong. Mine feels a little harder, but my work output in terms of Watts was similar and I felt about the same or slightly better during and after so hopefully my body is starting to remember how to have a better work capacity with the recent increase in conditioning frequency.
