Saturday is the most significant part of my training week.

This week's main focus was pulling, followed by camber bar paused squats.

My explosiveness is slow to come back, after time off everyone had the same statement in regards to coming back. "It'll come back fast"- well it didn't.

Nevertheless, the show must go on I worked up to a heavy single of 725. I was happy with the speed for the most part- I've yet to feel that pop off the floor that I'm so good at, as Dave said to me, my timing is shit, and the strength is still off.

725

I'll continue to take 40-50 lb jumps until I feel my body is acclimated to straining, and I'll start to g=figure some shit out. Time is shorter than an ant dick, so I have to sort this shit out amidst the chaos. I love it.

I followed that slow as pull up with three sets of 3 camber bar pause squats. I did these with four plates a side for 3-second pauses. Last year at the Arnold I'm not sure if the conditions contributed to this, but everyone's pick was shakey. I feel these will make me stronger in that area in case the same scenario presents itself.

CAMBER BAR

Finished up with a ton of quad, hamstring, and calf work. All in all, I'll grade this session a B plus, I'll take that any day.
