This week I have been testing out my raw max strength. If you have been following my blogs at all you will know I’m off season training and have been avoiding any squatting or deadlifting involving my knee since the Arnolds. I actually have not squatted since Dec and I have not benched much since Dec either with the exception of the bamboo bar.

I was curious to see where I was at so this week has proved I have not lost much strength if any.

So happy with hitting a 185 farily easily. My max raw bench ever is 200 lbs. I’m not far off at all for my numbers. Imagine if I started a 12 week meet prep I will rock my next competition.

Off season training is working for me, I will keep doing what I’m doing and loving it.
