Aside from my first year of powerlifting, because I didnt know anything about anything, I have always admired and aspired to be as great a squatter as Chuck V. If you don't want to be a squat monster after watching him squat then I don't know whats gonna help ya. There was a particular video of Chuck squatting in competition and me falls forward with over 1100lbs, stops it, catches it, reals it back in, and finishes the lift:

I thought to myself I want to be that fuckin strong to where I can get myself out of trouble no matter what. I brainstormed what I could do to get that strong. I found that the GM was the best lift for me if I ever found myself in that situation, too far forward and forced to real it back in. I tried GM from the top but I didn't like the way it felt. To much pressure on my spine, upper to be exact. I started doing the suspended and I found my secret weapon. I usually start at a height where if I got into trouble squatting that is where. But now I train it from varying heights and stances. I love this lift! More specifically a Hanging GM with a Giant Cambered bar against band tension:

This exercise has played a huge role in helping acquire an 1100lb squat, and I know it will take me up and beyond as well.
