Following my meet last weekend I decided to take a bit of a mental and physical break from barbell lifts. I won't be competing for at least six months to give myself time to get stronger. I want to focus a bit on some athletic movements for the next few weeks. I like the idea of some basic gymnastics movements so this week was a lot of headstands, L-sits, pull-ups, dips, pushups, and box jumps. All in all, this week was fun, and it's good to have a new kind of challenge. Don't worry, I'll be back to squatting, benching, and deadlifting this week!
