I toyed around today with an old Metal Viking shirt that I have had since Moses and I used to fish at the Red Sea. This shirt probably has got 400,000 miles on it and it's nothing like the Metal Ace or the Metal Jack that I have used over the years.

I wanted to use this shirt a little bit throughout my off season training to make me work a little harder and plus to see what I can actually touch in and press back up. Let me rephrase this, the least amount of weight I could touch with and press back up.

So today went pretty well and I will keep this shirt in my so called bag of tricks in case I need something that I know I can open with and have no difficulty touching with at a minimal weight. My shoulders are not what they used to be and having a torn labrum on my left shoulder for the last five years has really hampered my shirted benching power. I'm also sure that the new frequency of steroid injections that I get in my shoulders that used to be a once a year thing are now becoming every few months. Mileage, abuse and age are catching up with me. I will do my best to beat father time for as long as I can but eventually he will win, but until then, fuck him. I have a total I am trying to put together!
