I headed to Old School Iron, one of the baddest gyms out there, to train with one of my best friends, Nuke. If you're ever in the Cleveland area this gym is a must. If you like to check out awesome gyms like I do, this is a bucket list gym for sure.

I really didn't have much of a training plan besides to bench, since I just competed a week or so ago and I have nothing planned in the near future.

Bench Press: bar x 5 135x3 225x3 275x3 315x3 365x2 405x1 425x1

I hit what I did at The Arnold , 425, just messing around in the gym. That is kind of disappointing. Since the meet I am committing to using a wider grip for my competition bench. I will still train with a medium and closer grip as well. But, I feel like the wide grip will be my best bet.

Accessory work: we had a little fun with the fist movement and hit some log clean and press. I like pretending I'm still an athlete from time to time. We worked up to a few singles at 205 - nothing crazy, but it was fun to mix things up.

DB incline Press 3x10 -100lbs

Chest supported cambered bar rows 5x8 -heavy

Lat Pull down with the close grip mag attachment 2x20

This gym is awesome, I'm looking forward to training there a little more frequently.
