Monday was a raw bench session, and since I was feeling better than expected after heavy band tension the previous day. I decided to finish my raw bench cycle today, rather than Thursday. The main reason for the switch is that I currently do this at a local gym with crappy commercial equipment and a mixed bag in terms of possible spotters. With this being the hardest day of the cycle, I wanted to do it on competition quality stuff with my normal crew.

The program was 275lbs for 6 sets of 6.

I got through the first 5 sets really easily, so I decided to push the weight on the last set to 315. I still got 6, which is a rep pr by one rep.

It's safe to say that the cycle is bringing my raw bench up. I'm stronger now at 210lbs than I was last year at 235.

Did a ton of t-bar rows and some rope triceps extensions to round out the session, and I was done.
