Monday was my last heavy shirt day before the meet on November 15th.

I had contemplated working off a high board to get some top end work in, but instead I opted to use a 1 board because it would offer a little more help in learning to groove the shirt for maximum carryover.

Plus, I thought it would be cool to break one last pr (700 off this board) before hitting the platform.

Worked up raw to 315, then got the shirt on.

405 - 3 board

495 - 2 board

585 - 1 board

Stayed on the 1 board the rest of the day

650 x 1

705 x 1

725 x 1

I hate to get overconfident this close to a meet, but everything, even the 725 felt light. I probably could have done more, but It was already a 25lb pr and it's time to start thinking about recovery. But damn, these felt light!

Of course, my phone received a call during the 725, so I didn't get video of it, but here is the 705.

Only light stuff after the benching, because my arms were fried and hurting. I did 4 sets of 12 on the pullover machine, a few sets of cable pushdowns, and that was it.

Can't wait to ht the platform!
