It took me forever to hit a bench PR of any type. I "attempted", if you can call it that 435 on July 10, which would have been a PR, and strained a pec. On October 3rd I hit that 435 for a 5 lb PR, which was the first bench PR of any type in a couple YEARS. This workout I hit an easy 445 with the shoulder saver for a 10 lb PR.

Bench with shoulder saver 135x10 225x10 275x10 315x2 365x1 405x1 425x1 445x1

I was obviously pretty happy about this one.

Accessory work: Neutral grip floor press vs doubled mini band (approx. 40 lbs at the top) 135x10 185x5 x 2 sets 205x5 x 2 sets 225x5 x 2 sets 275 x 5

Kettlebell Tri Extensions (on Dumbbell bench) - we did this variation last week and I really liked them. They were way easier on my elbows than doing them with dumbbells and I felt them a lot more

5x10 @ 35lbs

*SUPERSET WITH*

Single arm band tricep extensions 5x15 each arm

I'm looking forward to seeing how the next couple bench sessions go!
