I'm going to be handling her at the Live Large meet in Canton in 11 or so weeks, so, We met up at Old School Iron in Cleveland to train.

I have been rehabbing a bulging disk for the past couple months and I have not squatted more than 325 lbs. I have been feeling great, so my plan was to squat 415 today, ideally 100% pain free. All while hoping she didn't out squat me! Fortunately for me, she worked up to about 80ish% (355lbs). You can check her training log and see the videos here: https://www.elitefts.com/training-logs/squats-single-ply/https://www.elitefts.com/training-logs/squats-single-ply/https://www.elitefts.com/training-logs/squats-single-ply/

I am trying to decide between using Oly shoes or my chucks to squat. I feel like my Oly shoes make it easier to hit depth and I feel pretty good in them. But, today I squatted in chucks.

Squat: bar x 5 145x5 195x5 235x5 285x3 325x3 375x1 415x1

I was 100% pain free, which was awesome. I could tell on the last couple squats that I was just all around off. I felt unstable in my hips. I think I just need to get used to having some weight on my back again.

Accessory work: Prone Hamstring Curl 5x20 DB straight leg DL 5x10 Reverse Hyper 3x20 Sled Drag 3x60 yards.
