I squatted with a straight bar a few days ago. Traditionally, I would do Dynamic Effort work on this day. But, due to a back injury (non lifting related) I have a lot of ground to make up. I want to compete in December, but have a long way to go.

Elitefts SS Yoke bar:

bar x 3 135x3 225x3 275x3 315x2 365x2 405x1 455x1

I was surprised how well I felt. Not that this is anything crazy heavy, but It moved well, so I was happy. My pr with this bar is 600 though.

I haven't used anything knee wrap wise other than a crappy pair of old inzer black with red stripe pair that someone gave me years ago. For the 455 I used my elitefts maverick wraps and I forgot how ridiculous the difference is. I think that is the best all around pair of wraps. Great for the strongest lifters to train with, and also perfect for beginner, intermediate lifters to compete in.

Accessory work: SS Yoke Bar good mornings 4x5 @ 225 lbs

Dumbbell Straight leg deadlift 4x10 superset pullups 4x10

Again, not crazy heavy, but couldn't be happier to be moving in the right direction.
