How do you become a better athlete?

Sure I am constantly getting hurt then the hurt becomes injured. This is most often unavoidable the constant wear and tear on my body is and has caught up with me. But I have yet to say I reached my full potential. Potential not being the amount of weight moved but how the weight is moved. How efficient is my body working. I'm working on getting my body in the best shape physically . if this means chiropractor twice a week and foam rolling and deep stretching daily to keep my mobility throughout the ongoing injuries to prevent anything else from getting hurt... bring it on. Its worth doing if its done right. I am mentally not ready to stop trying to figure it out. I want to be a complete athlete. I will find the right combination. I hate settling for less than what I am capable of.

I will be training for a push/pull meet coming up in August.
