Speed Upper

I spent most of the weekend and the first half of today studying for an exam in my musculoskeletal class. As I have come to expect, two and a half days of sitting with decreased sleep and increased expenditure of energy using my brain power instead of muscle power left me in a sub-par state for training today. Due to a combination of this and my tiredness catching up with me and putting me in a foul mood, I just did my pressing and called it a day. I also added in a little more warmup and did not work up on either exercise.

Banded Bench (doubled minis)

10x45 + bands

6x95

4x135

2x185

8x3x200

I knocked off 2 sets at the end because I was getting some kind of funkiness in my right QL/erector region and it was starting to screw with my positioning and bar speed more and more.

Speed Axle Strict Press

10x70

4x90

10x3x115

Even in spite of feeling like I was beaten with a bag of smashed butt holes, this was super easy and fast. I'm adding in chains for the next block.
