A couple of my good friends, Dan Freeze and Justin Straight, and I headed to Columbus to the Cbus Lifting Co to train for the day. We decided to squat. This facility is a pretty awesome set up, outfitted by Elitefts. When we got there, a group was squatting out of one of the monolifts with the rackable cambered bar. We hopped in on the other mono and started squatting.

I've been having some tendonitis in my bicep and it was really bothering me that day, so I didn't really push it because I knew I was going to elitefts to bench the next morning.

Squat:

bar x 10 1 plate x 5 2 plats x 5 285x5 325x5 375x5 415x4 465x3

I felt good, but my elbow was killing me so I shut it down after that. I deadlifted a couple days before, but they were going to pull, so I pulled a few speed singles. I switched my grip so the arm with the tendonitis was underhand to stretch it out and I think it helped.

Speed Pulls - 10 x 1 between 225 and 405

I didn't really do much after except eat a bunch of food with my buddies. it was a great trip and well worth the drive. The facility is amazing, and thank you to everyone there for the hospitality!
