I was four months in living in London, OH. I moved to Pittsburgh two months later to share my life and a house with someone else (and 2 fur babies). It was a rocky start. I lost touch with friends. I reconnected. I celebrated holidays, family dinners and outings with people I now call family. I was fortunate enough to create memories with grammy gram, Casey’s gram-mum, before she passed. I saw life and I saw death. What a lovely lady. She taught me so much. My brother got engaged. I got a promotion at work. I added 60lbs to my squat. Casey got sick. Our relationship almost ended. Coupled in Strength came into fruition. We fought for each other. He’s getting better and we’re getting better.

Such is life. It’s never linear, it’s never what we predict, yet, it can teach us so much. I wouldn’t have it any other way.
April 27th, I celebrated with good food and great friends. I laughed SO hard. I showed off my boobs, I wore heels and I drank gin. And although Casey didn’t feel well, he held up like a trooper. I’m proud of him. He’s a tough son of a bitch. A short tempered son of a bitch.
I like to play “stop this train” by John Mayer and it’s a song about wanting to stop time, and as the song goes on, his father tells him “Don't stop this train
Don't for a minute change the place you're in
And don't think I couldn't ever understand
I tried my hand
John, honestly, we'll never stop this train"
So I leave you with that.
Thank you for the birthday wishes, everyone. I feel very loved.
