So last night while in my back yard walking the dog I slipped on the snow and fell landing right on my left elbow. This is the elbow I had the tricep tendon reattached on back in August. There was no immediate pain and it happed really fast. I was back standing up before I even thought about what had just happened. By the time I got back to the house it was starting to hurt and the only thing I could think about was that I reinjured it. In December I was told it was completely healed and that I just needed to build up my strength at a reasonable pace. I had been doing just that and things were going well. While I was a long way off from my previous strength level I was pain free with full range of motion and making modest gains. I had a short term plan for rebuilding to get things closer to where I was...NOW all I am hoping for is that there is no new injury. Right now there isn't any bruising or much swelling that I can tell but it is very sore and I'm not training. For now I've decided to wait to see if it starts improving. Hopefully its little physical damage and my mind overthinking and worrying...time will tell.
