I had my 6 week post surgery appointment today and my ROM is really good and my incision has healed nicely. It's pretty tender to the touch and I have some tightness but overall things look good. The brace I had been wearing has been removed and I can perform "normal" life activities but need to be careful with the arm. Normal activities means putting on deodorant, getting dressed and opening car doors. As for training I was told I could use stack loaded machines that didn't involve using handles or holding handles (leg machines). I was told no extension movements that require force and nothing that requires me to stabilize anything with the left arm. I immediately began running through options in my head and they are very limited...hum....

My next appointment with the surgeon will be in 2 months but I will start physical therapy this coming Friday.
