I had big plans for log today. Idiot. I'm not sure exactly what was wrong, but the clean was just not there today. All my jerks felt equally easy so I know right now if I can clean it then I can jerk it. I'm debating if adding log cleans themselves into my next programming block will be helpful or not. I'm leaning toward not right now, but I've still got a couple weeks to figure it out. So today was just a big disappointment all around.

Log Clean & Jerk

1x325

0x345 - Picked it easily, but as soon as I tried to come out of my lap, it slipped every time. This never happens to me, so I'm not sure if it was the colder temps, insufficient recovery, or just something that was tight or not warmed up enough, but I completely failed when I tried to come up to the rack position. As I said before, this was very disappointing because I had hit 325 easily (both clean and jerk) before my deload, and based on how my training has been going, I feel like I should be good for 345-355 right now, as long as I can clean it. I've got deadlift and bench coming up this week, then I may come back and try log again after that sometime or just chock it up to being a baffling buffoon.
