6/27 - Speed Bench Press
Speed Bench Press Worked up to 375 for 8 sets of 2, 60 seconds timed rest periods - Bar speed was strong on these. My new set-up is definitely starting to click.
Football Bar Floor Press (wide grip handles) 315x3 335x3 365x3 365x3 365x3 - Tried doing these initially with the close grip handles, but like last week, my elbows weren't having it. Wide grip felt much better, so I might abandon close grip's with the football bar all together.
Swiss Bar Standing Military Press 185x8 195x8 205x8 205x8 - not a PR by any stretch, but definitely the most weight I've pushed on these in a while. They're stop not bothering my lower back back or t-spine as they've done in the past, so I'll be keeping these in the rotation.
Straight Bar Skullcrushers 95x10 105x10 105x10 115x8 - did all reps with a slow negative. I find slowing down the negative and backing off weight on extensions allows me to be able to do them pain free.
DB Curls 4 sets 10 reps
