It has been several weeks since I have done any type of benching. My elbows have been in so much pain, I just could not muster up enough manliness to suck it up and push through. So I did what I never used to do. I have rested my elbows and stayed away from benching and pressing movements.

Ice, TENS unit, percussion therapy, body buffering, cupping and old wife tales type of therapy has been in full effect over the past few weeks. Is it working? Hard to say. We will see. Is it hurting me that I am not benching? Hard to say. We will see with that too.

Im just trying to be smart. I am frustrated right now but it is what it is right now. Im 45 freakin years old with 25 years of competing under my belt and 30 years of training mileage on this body. Shit happens and time waits on no one. This will not stray my focus or allow me to put my head down. Instead, I am more focused. We will see....

I used my bigger shirt today to just work on form and not necessarily heavy weight....
