Hey Josh,

I was really surprised by Johnnie Jackson's latest workout videos - you really changed his training style quite a bit, especially his form on bench presses.

I wondered why Johnnie does so many (low rep) deadlift variations at the beginning of his workout in prep for the Olympia - is it to maintain strength?

Could you go into further detail on the improvements you want to make on Johnnie's physique?

Always impressed by your success stories.

Best wishes,

Jonas

Jonas,

Your limit strength is your base! Bodybuilding takes a holistic approach with high reps, low reps, high speed, low speed, compound movement, peak contraction ones…it’s a balancing act. When Branch and Johnnie approached me about training them for the Olympia, the first thing Branch said was, “I saw what happened with Johnnie and my best gains have been made with powerbuilding, like you call it. That’s how we want to train for the Olympia.” I will be putting more detail later, I think you will be pleased with the end result. Jonas, you have posted before and as always I appreciate your interest and support.
