Week Five: Arm day!

Arms today...Haha, that's funny! I feel like one of those bros. I've always chuckled at bros spending an hour+ doing arms...Haha! But it's part of the plan and the plan is working. DB Curls Hammer Curls supersetted, 4x8 and 4x10 Preacher Curls BB Curls supersetted, 4x8 and 4x10 Rope Pushdowns x15 Close-grip pushups x20 supersetted, 4 times (that was fun) JM Press x8 Close grip pushups x20 supersetted, 4 times (that was even more fun) Calf raises and abs! Here are some unflexed pics from week one to now (entering week six):







Two weeks out from figure show! Yikes! The last few weeks have been busy! I must say training for figure/bodybuilding takes up way more time. There's cardio (which recently went from 10 minute HIIT sessions to 45 minutes of walking...ugh, almost an hour of my day), tanning, and posing, etc. So, training is going great! I love the new workouts every week, love the volume, and love the mass I've put on. I spent Friday afternoon with John Meadows to work on some posing. It went really well. We got some poses nailed down and I think it was helpful for John to see me in person and see what everything is looking like. Yesterday I emailed my two weeks out pics and update to John. He kept everything the same and even gave me a cheat meal. Yes, I am that much on track. :) I can't believe there is only two more weeks to go! While this is certainly NOT one of the figure poses I'll be doing, John was messing around and wanted me to try this shot.

5 days away!

Chest and shoulders Decline DB Press x15, 12, 8 Reverse Band Incline 3x5 2x8 2x10 This felt awesome! Flat DB Presses 4x8 Rear Flyes 4x15 DB shoulder press 4x8 supersetted, DB Front raise 4x10 Side Laterals (partials heavy) 3x15 A little posing practice afterwards! I've got two more training sessions this week! This process has been really fun. It's great to see my body change and learn a lot from John along the way! These are about six days out. I've been holding steady which is good. I'm right where I need to be!











The 2013 NPC EAS Mike Francois Classic is this Saturday, May 11th, 2013.
