I’ve been trying to put more effort into working on my hip mobility since I feel like I’ve never been able to open up my hips to get into the ideal sumo position. It seems to be helping, but I still have a long way to go. Congratulations to my training partner Isaac Sullender for pulling a huge PR of 505! (his best prior to this is 485). Pulling over 500 is a big accomplishment. Isaac has been training consistently for years, but has made rapid improvements while following my Minimalist/M2 Method. He said he feels like it’s structured like Ed Coan’s training combined with Paul Anderson’s use of exercises with varying ranges of motion.
