One of my former Interns messaged me like he always does when he's in town. Gabe Rangel is a Marine turned Personal Trainer to the "Stars", Turned Private Strength and Conditioning Coach to some of the BEST in the NFL.

Under his watchful eye, he has (name-dropping here) Lane Johnson and Jalen Hurts from the Philadelphia Eagles. A couple of guys from the Green Bay Packers and various other soon-to-be "Big Time" All-Pros.

Well, I was expecting Gabe to come in, grab a workout and talk some shop today when he walks in with said NFL players.

It's always fun to see the heads turn when Pro Athletes show up. I mean, you get to see them from the stands or on T.V., but when you stand next to them it's an entirely different experience.

This photo is a picture of Lane Johnson and his 6'7" frame vs. me with my 5'6" on a good day (and today wasn't a good day, height-wise for me). Heck, his spotting rails are the height I would take the weight out of a J-hook.

Regardless, it's always fun to see my old friend and it was certainly fun to make new ones.

You know you have success when the "Student becomes the Teacher".
