“When you give advice, you should first discern whether or not the other person is willing to accept it.” I went out of my way yesterday to lend some points of view on our current situation. One part funny (or so I thought) and one part deep down emotional (never speak out of emotion) I was met with resistance and out right anger. We are in a time that is new to all of us. There are emotions that are rising from depths never explored. I'd like to think I am wiser than what I displayed yesterday. But If I learn ONE thing per day it is the application of the quote from "Bushido" above...   “When you give advice, you should first discern whether or not the other person is willing to accept it.”
