There are many moments in a rep, set, session, day, week, month, year, and lifetime that can be overwhelming to the point of wanting to give up. Every time I've reached one, I stop for a moment and understand that this is a great test and I am about to learn something glorious. I can take a glass of milk and drop one pepper flake into it and immediately the normal eye will be drawn to that ONE flake, a "blemish", an inconvenience or a flaw. If you stop and become encouraged by the abundant "whiteness" and focus on the milk that still exists regardless of the flake, then you can detach from the normal and find the lessons that are constantly being offered. (Feeling a bit like Master Po from "Kung Fu" the TV series ) Today's Team Training: I made a mistake today. I posted on the board at the gym an 8 set/12 rep schematic. It SHOULD have been 10 sets of 12. Upright Row/OHP combo and DB Fly super set w/ Bench Press with the same weight as last Friday Then 10 minutes of arm only Air Dyne
At the moment of giving up...
