Here are Judy’s best lifts 121.25 lb bench and a 236 lb deadlift in the 148 lb weight class:

The APF/AAPF Maidens of Iron Meet was a great opportunity for Judy to compete alongside her fellow female lifters and to show that they can keep lifting at any age!

Although they live over 2 hours away, Judy and Davey make a monthly trek to Orlando Barbell for me to work with them, make sure their technique and training is on track, and to provide them with their programming for the next few weeks. The rest of the time they can be found at the YMCA or Anytime Fitness in their hometown of Zolfo Springs, where they provide inspiration and advice to their fellow members.

Judy and Davey are perfect examples that strength training is the closest we can come to the fountain of youth. Of course I also have to give a shameless plug that they’re proof that since the Minimalist/M2 Method is based off percentages of a projected max, it can work well for lifters of any age and strength to stay consistent without injury.
