As most know, I commute to my gym via bicycle. Not that it's of any great distance but it is about a 20 minute ride on a normal day. I've done it for years and its an easy way for me to get some additional conditioning in without really thinking about it. Everyone ALSO knows that I live in California and with that comes the trials and tribulations of getting ANYWHERE a task for only the patient people. My commute to Hunter's hockey practices are on average an hour and a half, and the return is a simple 40 ish minutes. TODAY, my bike ride took 9 minutes longer because of THAT traffic. The amount of people going somewhere other than my gym or my house our my son's hockey rink has been increasing at an alarming rate on a DAILY basis. It has been sneaking UP on me. My question is...is it just here in my town, or is it an issue across the country? WHERE are these people coming from and where are they headed? Some people simply need to STOP reproducing. I won't have anywhere to ride my bike! Creeps.
