I own a Mini Van! Yes, I said it. I own a Soccer Mom'n, hella kid transport vehicle. Traded in my Sport Utility Vehicle years ago for it too. I took my "MINI Nan" in for it's maintenance yesterday to find out I needed new sneakers all the way around, and it's oil and filters changed, battery and fluids topped. After spending beau coup amount of dinero to make it California Highway Safe for my EM-50ing, my wife calls last night from the Hockey rink to tell me that "the car is dead." WHAT? NO FREAK'N WAY! Being the great husband and cool dad that I am, I trek on out and come to the rescue of the damsel and lord. Not being able to see to properly jump start the car, and not being an expert mechanic, I lock up the EM-50 and call the insurance dude to have my vehicle towed back to the dealership of which it came not a few hours earlier. Since nothing is open at that hour, nor is it open when I wake in the morning, I had to coordinate the tow truck, the garage, my wife's busy work schedule AND my own training/coaching itinerary. As the meeting of the Tow driver and myself came to flourishen, he tells me he needs to "jump" the car so he could at least put it in position to flat bed it. As he hooks up the cables, he pokes his head out from under the hood to announce, "they didn't tighten up the negative cable when they checked the battery yesterday". Well, needless to say, being the MACHO kind of guy I am, I adjusted my skirt, pulled my panty hose out of my vag, and took my now started Urban Assault Vehicle home to reach into my Darth Vader Tool kid and pull out a SOCKET wrench to there by adjust that loosened nut. Problem SOLVED! We are so radical, we're NOT even going to have the common curtesy to call the garage back and tell them ....SEE! I'll take my own council from now on, when the engine doesn't work, check the gas tank first, then see if there are any NUTS that need tightening. It's much easier to remove your pants AFTER you get the shoes off. (hence, I wear no shoes) Today: Bench: 3 board, 5 RM Move up in weight until it gets "heavy".
