Happy Birthday to Orlando Barbell!

Orlando Barbell has now been in business for 14 years. Many people have come and gone and the sport of Powerlifting has changed dramatically, but relationships have been built that will last a lifetime. Thank you to all of you who have been, and continue to be a part of the OBB family. I discovered my high school weight room in 1988. It didn’t take long before I realized the impact the gym was having on my body, my mind and my life. This was the one place I had control. How much I lifted, how strong I became, and how I felt about myself was all up to me. It didn’t take long before I also realized that I wanted to help have this same impact on others. A BS in Exercise Science from UF, 8 years of paying my dues as a trainer at the Y, a CSCS Certification through the NSCA, 10 years of competitive Powerlifting, numerous records, a number one ranking, and of course an Elitefts sponsorship, (all of which helped build credibility) and Orlando Barbell was born. 14 years later and we’re still standing and going strong.
