Today's Gym Seminar's topic was the subject of Winning v. Losing While all the ideas presented were viable and note worthy I had a few thoughts of my own that I will share here. After all the reason you are reading this now is because you don't mind my opinion on different subjects (and not all pertaining to training and sports) One comment was, "I either win or I learn" I think I'd rather be stupid and WIN all of the time. Much is to be gained in a non winning effort there is never anything wrong winning Championships or going Undefeated. "People need to be good losers and better sportsmen". Absolutely...NOT! I think you show me a good loser and I'll show you a loser. Fair play and a good sport, YES! But a good loser? I finished the discussion with a couple observations that i've had over the years. 1. It's not until a person HATES losing even more than they enjoy winning that they become a Champion and 2. Show me a pissed off loser and I will show you an eventual winner! Everything is temporary. Make Winning a habit!   Today's Training: Bike Commute OHP DB LR DB FR Shrugs DB Curl Cable Tri Dips Hammer Curl Concept II Row Bike Commute
