Today is the first day of school in my town. Kids are now back in classes and my gym shows it. Attendance at the 5:00 AM training is still the same, but the rest of the morning is quite "Ghost Townish" Suppose it's time to expand for the fall. But like my friend Mike Szudarek likes to say..."Only three spots left" hahahahahaha... I also change a couple things up today, as I also have "Dry Land" training with my son's new hockey club. Yea, couldn't do that rush hour drive out to Stockton for a third year. An hour and a half is just too long even though we LOVED being with such a wonderful group of people. California SUCKS when it comes to many things, but the driving here is possibly the worst in the USA. Today's Training: Run: 10x50 yards. I broke three world records. Running sprints in the dark just seems FASTER! Tier I: Negative Accentuated Deadlifts: Rip the bar from the ground and then lower it back down to a five count. 6 RM Once the 6 rep weight is determined, do three more sets for a total of 4 working sets of 6 reps. Reverse Hyper w/ pause: 3x12x 30 Leg Curl: 1x25 1x20 1x15 1x10 increasing the weight each progressive set Tier II: GHR: 1x25 1x20 1x15 1x10 Squat: 8 RM Negative Accentuated (five count down explode back up off the box) 4x8 DB Lunge: Do all one leg then the other per set 4x8xHeavy Bike Commute: 20 minutes
