I’ve got more for you in the Stuff You Can Do With..... Series today.

In this installment I have a few awesome exercise variations to improve your grip strength and build your forearms with no equipment to purchase.

  Al you need is a decent sized bath towel from home. Clean preferably. All of the things shown are variations we ones we have used at TPS for decades and they work. I’m a huge fan of making accessory exercise harder without adding weight and making them do more than one thing. These variations using a towel on the bar will make whatever the exercise you choose harder, and the will blast your grip and forearms too. More bang for the buck.

• Towel pullups • Towel Rows & curls • Ab crunch Hatfield style, with and without weight • Swings • Overhead rotations • Presses
