Wendler, Rhodes & Dizenzo Response

My Response

I had no idea the guys discussed this when I was making this post on IG.

Here’s my go at this since people think he’s speaking about me due to my hip replacements.

1. I don’t know him so have no reason to care what he does think about me.

2. If you know me at all you will know I fucking hate the DL

3. You all realize his comments are his opinion right? He’s should be encouraged to share it!

4. People are not jumping on his DL statement because it’s right or wrong (look up Training Needs Assessment)

5. The MAJORITY of people making posts are doing so to grab the popularity “he” earned and use it to bang up their followers, subs, likes and name.

I highly doubt @robertoberst even knows who I am and if he did have an issue with me would let me know as most strength athletes at the highest levels have no problem doing.

There, now stop the DMs _ #Repost @robertoberst with @get_repost ・・・ I wanted to address 2 things that have been coming up a lot since I did @joerogan podcast. I will talk about them here and I’ll be open to discourse but I won’t be goaded into an endless argument with anyone. 1st - I said deadlifts have a bad risk/ reward ratio is terrible for people who aren’t deadlifting to compete with deadlifts. Athletes in the NFL and NBA do not deadlift with a front bar. Nor do top level college teams. There are exceptions and of course with good training and the right weight it’s helpful. I can walk from my bed to the bathroom and that’s helpful too, but the quest is to find the best way to prepare for your challenge. I’ve had a couple people make snide remarks and one powerlifter in particular who’s said “of course he said deadlifts are bad, he sucks at them.” ... It’s hard for me to write this without calling them out by name, but I’ve decided to be cool about this. This man is a powerlifter who’s barely 50 and had BOTH hips replaced already and now he’s selling the same propaganda he was sold that put him in that position.
