- set feet out wide - push out on your feet and squeeze your glutes - keep your chin down - keep your arms as straight as possible and raise them in a Y formation - while you raise your arms think of reaching your arms out long. This will make the movement more difficult and keep the stress on the smaller muscles in the shoulder - try not to shrug the weight up - 3-4 x 15-30
