The back attack targets the lower back and glutes. This movement is very similar to a good morning using a regular barbell, but it keeps you lower body stationary allowing you to really target your low back and glutes. Many lifters opt to use bands with this movement to force them to contract as hard as possible at the top much like you would with a conventional deadlift.
