I got a chance to speak with Relentless promoters Scott and Rachel Nutter, as well as competitor Kathy Johnson about the meet that is changing the way people view powerlifting. This event raises an incredible amount of funds for HopeKids®, a charity that eases the burden of families faced with handling the serious illness of a child. This event (and the other Relentless Meets that have sprung up in other cities) has raised a tremendous amount of money for this worthwhile charity.

I am making Relentless my first meet. So is elitefts™ Sales Director Matt Goodwin. Trent Chance, who shoots many of our UGSS videos and Matt Ladewski (our Social Media Manager) will also be competing. We have put together a combined donation page for all four of us:

The event will be held on March 23 at Valley Christian Church in Rosemont, Minnesotta. Please support it, either through a donation (links to other lifters' donation pages can be found at www.firstgiving.com/hopekids/relentless2013/fundraisers) or by attending. Even a five or ten dollar donation makes a big difference when they all are added up.

Please take a few minutes to look into your heart and give what you can. You will be glad you helped make a difference with people that really need it.
