Power Squat Good Mornings

Muscles Targeted: Lower Back and Hamstrings

The Power Squat Good Morning is a great lower back movement when you are too worn out to deal with Good Mornings. Position yourself on the machine with you feet back further than normal with a medium to close stand. Un-rack the machine and bend over as you would a Good Morning. As you bend make sure to push your butt back as far as you can placing all the stress on the glutes and hamstrings. Drive your hips forward as you come up. The Power Squat is a revolutionary piece of equipment that allows for a variety of different foot placements, band settings and exercise selection. This has been a staple of university and professional weightrooms for a couple of years. At EFS, we used our unique touch and made a good product even better.
