A popular analogy about the central nervous system goes like this: every person has a cup, which represents the central nervous system. With every stressor added to a person's life, water is poured into the cup. Training, lack of sleep, inflammatory food — all water into the cup. Too many stressors and the cup overflows, causing negative side effects to a person's mental and physical state.

So what's the trick? How do we pour water out of our cup and allow our central nervous system to preform optimally?

In this edition of Table Talk, Dave expands on a topic of injury rehabilitation from the Rapid Fire Table Talk session. In particular, Dave answers a question from Instagram user jrw1290 about squat depth, what he might be doing wrong now, and how to get back on track to optimal performance.
