January first comes around every year and people think it's a time to make changes in their lives, reflect on the previous year and set goals and resolutions for the upcoming year. I'm not one of those people and I don't understand the thought process. I'm always adjusting my goals to keep making progress, always thinking about how I can be better, do more or get more out of life. For me, I always want to be better than I was yesterday, a minute ago or even a rep ago. The amount of effort that I'm able to put into being better varies but to some degree it's a constant in my life. While a perfect life is not attainable I am very fortunate to have perfect moments and those moments have been happening often lately. I have a beautiful woman in my life that I get to spend time with and love every day, I am surrounded by some amazing people who have become my friends and people that I value greatly, I get to train at the best training facility in the world and I have a career that allows me time and resources to enjoy those parts of life, the parts that truly matter.
