I was pretty excited to push some heavier singles this week. It's crazy how I'm almost done with my first cycle of 5/3/1. Time sure does fly. I went in for my squat workout first thing in the morning on Monday after I ate breakfast. I was totally dragging in the dirt that morning and everything just felt like shit. I guess you can't always have stellar training sessions. I still got done what I needed to on my prescribed reps so that's a plus. I hit my bench workout with my buddies John, Ben and Briar at the UA Rec center. I hit some decent numbers on my last set but the debauchery was at an all time high with all four of us together.
