14 Weeks Out from XPC Finals @ The Arnold Classic

The movement for yesterday's 5x5 training was close stance SSB Good Mornings. I used 260lbs, which is 20lbs more than what I did 2 weeks ago; but still a long way from where these need to be. I'm confident building some strength with these submax good mornings will carry over well to my squat and deadlift. I followed those with my last week of straight leg deficit deadlifts (4th week). Next week will be back to max effort work; and sometime in the next few weeks I want to do a squat in my gear now that I've gained some weight back and am off my old medicine.

A. Standing Ab Pull-Down Warm-Up w/ Band - 4x20

B. Close Stance SSB Good Morning - 5x5 w/ 260lbs

C. Straight Leg Deficit Deadlifts (slow eccentric) - 4x8

2x8 w/ 225lbs

1x8 w/ 255lbs

1x8 w/ 275lbs

D. Single-Leg Leg Press (pushing knee out wide to prehab adductors) - 3x12 per leg

E. Seated External Rotation w/ Doubled Light Band - 3x10

F. Hanging Leg Raises - 3x10
