This week I wanted to squat somewhere between 625 and 650 to see where I was at. I'm definitely not used to kilo plates yet so my jumps were a little bit off and I ended up taking just below 600 on my second to last attempt. Ideally I would have taken 570ish, one somewhere around 625 and depending how that went close to 650. But it is what it is.

I warmed up with doubles up to 405 ish. Then put my knee wraps on and went to singles for here on out. I have a warn out hand me down pair of wraps I use for my first wrapped attempt around 455. My next three attempts I used my 3m Mavericks, which I think are the best all around training wraps. I took 495ish, 545 ish, and 585 ish.

I put on my 3m kraits, which I think are the best competition wraps, for my last attempt at 638. It wasn't bad at all. Looking back I should have taken one more around 650 or a few lbs more. I'm still deciding when I'm going to compete again. My meet PR is 675, my next goal is 700.

Accessory work:

It took forever to squat, we had a pretty decent handful of lifters. So, I just finished off with 100 total standing cable crunches.

Im writing this a couple days after and I feel great. I'd like to take one more squat a little heavier this weekend if I still feel good.
