Block 12, Wave 1 - OH

After taking my final practical last night, I was itching to get back to training today. Nothing earth shattering, but just moving and doing work was exactly what I needed. I'm heading into the last 2 weeks of the semester so there will be lots of studying and exams in my immediate future, but I will find time to train in order to retain my tenuous grasp on reality.

Scottish Tornadoes

5ea x monster mini

2x5ea x light

Log C&J (clean once)

complex x 85

complex x 135

complex x 185

3x200

3x235

2x5x265

I had planned to do a 3rd set at 265, but the 2nd set got squirrely on me (I got squirrely on it?) so I stopped after two.

Close Grip Chain Axle Bench (2 sets of chains)/Supinated Grip Pullups

10x80 - No chains

3x80 - Add chains

2x110

3x130

3x130/10xBW

3x130

3x130/10xBW

3x130

3x130/10xBW

There were performed in the following manner: bench triple, rest 30 sec, bench triple, pullups, bench triple, rest 30 sec,...,etc. I'll start bumping up intensity next time since everything was smooth and fast today.

Diagonal Band Pullaparts/Incline Reverse Crunches

2x{15ea x mini/15xBW} - Pullaparts were too easy, but 2nd set of abs was death.
