Last Monday was a bench day, and to give my shoulders a break and build some top-end, I worked up with a slingshot.

I had forgotten my Metal Catapult, so I borrowed my training partner Anthony's slingshot, which is a size big on me. It was fine for the session, I just didn't worry about hitting a pr in it (which I didn't, lol).

Warmed up and worked up like so:

bar x a bunch

95 x 5

135 x 5

185 x 1

225 x 1

Added slingshot

275 x 1

315 x 1

365 x 1

405 x 1

435 x 1

435 wasn't too far off my pr, even with the bigger slingshot, so I called it there.

After the benching, I did my 3rd week of dumbbell overhead presses, and worked up to 4 sets of 10 with 75lbs. This was easier than the previous week's 4x10 at 65lbs, so I know that my shoulder strength is coming back up.

Finished up with 5 sets of 10 lat pulldowns with the v-grip, and that was all.
