After having set an all-time PR on my equipped bench press with 457lbs, I'm taking the next 12-16 weeks to focus on hypertrophy training. My wife is beginning to diet to do a show within the next year, so I'm shifting this time to join in her footsteps for support. I'm hoping to compete again before the end of 2019.

Tuesday was my birthday, and I'm a whooping 31 years old. Crazy to think where time has gone. Some days I wake up feeling 31, others I wake up feeling like 21. At least I don't look nearly like I'm 31 (or so I'm told). But that didn't stop me from getting in a good leg session to celebrate.

Items Used in this Training Session

Warm Up Tons of PRI Based Stuff

A1) Single Leg Lying Leg Curls 4x10 per leg

B1) Belt Squats 5x10 *I only used 45 seconds of rest between each set here. That sucked.*

C1) True Squat 4x8 *For these I used 1.5 reps, so down, half way up, back down, then up. That was one rep. Miserable.*

D1) GHR 3x10 *I used more 1.5 reps here as well. That was a brutal way to stretch out the hammies.*
