I pulled off 4.5 inch blocks - starting me right at my weak point. I pulled on stiff bar, in a commercial gym, so there was no chalk, and I had to use straps. I typically rely on creating as much speed as possible off the floor and "grip and rip". Starting from my weak point and not being able to utilize the stretch reflex really made it tough on me.

After warming up for awhile I pulled all my working sets off of 4.5 inch blocks with elitefts strong bands.

315x1 x 2 sets 405x1 x 2 sets 455x1 x 2 sets 495x1 x 2 sets 545x1 x 1 set - this on was a real grind.

Accessory work: Dumbbell Straight Leg Deadlift x10 with 80 lb dumbbells Wide Grip Pull up x 10 Shrug Machine x 20 x5 rounds

I should probably throw DB Straight Legs back in , I'm writing this a couple days later and my hamstrings are still so sore from them.

I'm in the process of house hunting and starting a new gym, but hopefully i'll be ramping my training up a little bit and starting to prepare for a meet in November.
