We had Christmas with my wife's family in Lucasville, Ohio. Fortunately, a buddy of mine, Chad Hammond (who just competed at WPO) recently opened a powerlifting gym 10 minutes from her parents house. A couple of my old training partners met me on Sunday morning to check out his new place, Diamond Strength Center.

The place is a great set up. If you are in the Scioto County area you need to check it out.

We squatted to a box just below parallel with an 85 lb cambered bar.

I felt really good and would have liked to take one more heavier, but I had a 4 hour drive back and my back tightens up in long car rides, so I didn't want to be miserable.

To stretch out the back I hit 3x15 light reverse hypers 2 x 10 light dumbbell dumbbell hamstring curls.
