After having set an all-time PR on my equipped bench press with 457lbs, I'm now in off season mode getting back to some heavy training while running my gym, THIRST.
For programming and coaching inquires, please email SmitleyPerformanceSystems@gmail.com or visit brandonsmitley.comThis particular Monday I made some changes and opted to do my flys first, and then try some bench pressing to help reduce the amount of weight I could use. Also by using the cambered swiss angle bar, I suck with that bar anyways, so this ended up being a pretty good thing in terms of what weight I could use without causing much discomfort in my low abdominal area. Everything else I just cranked with reps, which is probably what I'm going to have to do moving forward.
